Roberta D'Alois is a playwright, monologist, teaching artist, and Artistic Director of Jump! Theatre, whose mission is to present theatrical work based on authentic stories of mental illness. She has a B.A. with honors in Theatre Arts from Brandeis University and an MFA in Playwriting from San Francisco State. Her plays have been presented or produced at Z Space, Boxcar Theatre, The Marsh and Brava! Theatre in San Francisco and Queen Anne Theatre in Seattle.

In addition to her playwriting and dramaturgical work, Roberta is currently an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco and at San Francisco State where she teaches writing to lower and upper division students. She is a proud member of the Dramatists’ Guild and The International Centre for Women Playwrights.
